According to the tool page, Search Console Insights is a new feature in GSC targeted at publishers and authors. It is designed to help them find out how site visitors find the content published on it, and what materials users like the most.
The new tool uses data from both Search Console and Google Analytics.
At the moment, Search Console Insights is in closed beta testing and is available only to those webmasters who have received invitations from Google.
