Payment service Facebook Pay earned in Russia

The social network Facebook has launched the payment service Facebook Pay in Russia. It can be used to pay for purchases on Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.

As stated in official documentation, through Facebook Pay, you can send and receive money, purchase games and in-game content, make donations to charity, buy and sell things in marketplaces and groups, tickets, and also promote events, a product or a company.

To do this, you need to link a bank card or PayPal account. The default currency is the Russian ruble. The entire transaction history is visible in the personal account. You can also purchase the Facebook Stars intranet currency through the service.

Note that the Facebook Pay payment service was launched in November 2019; in the summer of 2020, the system became available to users in Brazil. In June of this year, Facebook added the internal currency of Stars: “stars” are bought for real money and viewers can send them to bloggers during streams.
