Google has added new information to hotel and flight search to make it easier for users to plan travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was reported in the company’s blog.
The new information will appear in both the main search and Google Travel.
In particular, Google has added so-called “Travel Trends” to the search results, which show what percentage of hotels and flights are available in the specified region.
This data will also be shown when searching for a hotel, flight or rental accommodation in Google Travel. The service also has a new filter that allows you to sort search results by criteria such as free booking cancellation:
